[Class 110 (ii)] In a pump of the geared-vane type, the annular working chamber i carrying the impellers j is contained in a disc h, adjustably mounted on a pivot k, the eccentricity between the axes of the disc h and a driving shaft w being carried by means of a peg t controlled by a rotary spindle q. When the axes of the parts w, h are in alignment, no pumping occurs. The movement of the disc h is limited on each side of the central position by the walls of the recess g. Fluid passes from an inlet n, through the pivot to the working chamber i by way of a segmental-shaped port o, and is delivered by mutually-approaching impellers through passages 3, 4, 5. A lever r is used to rotate the spindle q. A pin d locates the casing parts a, b, secured together by bolts f. A driving member u has three radial grooves y which are engaged by rollers z mounted on pins 2 which actuate the impellers. In a modification, the pivot is integral with the disc h and an extension of the pivot forms a rotary spindle used to move the disc about its pivot. Inlet and delivery ports in the part a connect with passages in the disc h and the working chamber. In a further arrangement the disc h is mounted in a central section of a three-part casing.
