534,170. Rotary compressors. ESCHER WYSS MASCHINENFABRIKEN AKT.-GES. Jan. 5, 1940, No. 303. Convention date, Jan. 11, 1939. [Class 110 (ii)] In a rotary compressor having deac spaces 7, 8 betweer end-walls 3, 4 and the ends of the casing. - liquid accumulating in these spaces is conveyed to a liquid trap 12. The liquid is then passed by a pipe 14 to the compression side of the pump. The gas space in the trap is connected by a pipe 15 to the dead spaces. The liquid trap may be a gear-wheel pump which delivers the liquid to an oil separator.
