380,666. Rotary engines. EKELÍF, J., Lidingo, Sweden. Dec. 11, 1931, No. 34436. [Class 110 (ii).] Fixed-abutment type.- In a rotary pump, compressor or similar rotary engine of the kind shown comprising an annular piston member 5 adapted to be moved eccentrically in a cylinder 5<1> and carrying a cover disc 6 which is pressed by fluid pressure against one end of the cylinder, the piston 5 being guided in its gyrations by a radial transverse wall 16 in the cylinder, guide members between the wall and the cover disc are provided to guide the piston 5 relatively to the transverse wall 16 and consequently to decrease wear on the piston at that locality.
