Abstract
531,798. Filter networks. SIEMENS BROS. & CO., Ltd., and REED, M. Aug. 2, 1939, No. 22418. [Class 40 (iii)] In a bridge-type filter of the kind in which a differential transformer is employed to give the equivalent of a symmetrical lattice the terminal C is connected to an adjustable tapping on a resistance connected between the transformer windings or the terminal D is connected to an adjustable tapping on a resistance connected between the series connected impedance combinations LP, EP and LQ, EQ. In the filter shown the elements EP, EQ are piezo-electric crystals and the filter is of the band pass type.
