[Class 40 (iii)] The Specification describes a four-terminal network whose surge impedance is a constant resistance at all frequencies while its attenuation constant depends on frequency. The network is of the lattice or bridged-T form, and the arms comprise inverse ladder networks terminated by resistances which bear a specified ratio to the surge impedance of the whole network.
