Abstract
PURPOSE:To flatten the admittance characteristic of the entire speaker by connecting an impedance circuit, obtained by connecting a resistance in series to a parallel circuit of a coil and capacitor, in parallel to a voice coil. CONSTITUTION:In parallel to the voice coil of speaker 1, the impedance circuit is connected which consists of the parallel circuit of capacitor C and coil L, and series- connected resistance R. The admittance characteristic of the low-frequency band is connected by the component of this coil L, and that of the high-frequency band by the component of capacitor C. The level of the admittance characteristics obtained by capacitor C and coil L depends upon the value of resistance R. Therefore, the admittance characteristics viewed from input terminals 2 and 2' can be flattened by adequately selecting the values of capacitor C, coil L and resistance R.
