531,639. Valve generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., and PARKER, G. P. July 12, 1939, No. 20348. [Class 40 (v)] A crystal-controlled oscillator of the cathode coupled type has its tuned circuit L in parallel with a series circuit comprising the crystal P and a balancing reactance C, therefor, the junction of the crystal and the reactance being connected to the grid of the valve. The cathode K is connected to the mid-point of the inductance in circuit L. The positions of the crystal P and condenser C may be interchanged, Fig. 2 (not shown).
