Abstract
452,583. Valve generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., Electra House, Victoria Embankment, London, and WRIGHT, G. M., Broom Hall, Woodham Ferrers, Essex. Feb. 25, 1935, No. 5994. [Class 40 (v)] In a multi-vibrator circuit comprising a pair of valves 1, 2, Fig. 4, cross-coupled by resistances and condensers, a small inductance 'coil 20 of the order 0À1 of a Henry is included in the plate circuit of one of the valves with the object of producing sharp voltage pulses of the form shown in Fig. 5 across the grid resistance 10. The pulses may be applied to the grid of a frequency-multiplying valve, which has its plate circuit tuned to an harmonic frequency. The multi-vibrator may be used in connection with homodyne receivers of the kind described in Specification 454,257. U.S.A. Specification 1,936,789 also is referred to.
