Abstract
521,411. Systems of working. BAYERISCHE MOTOREN WERKE AKT.-GES. Nov. 16, 1938, No. 33353. Convention date, Nov. 16, 1937. [Class 7 (ii)] In an aircraft engine to which air is supplied by a blower 10 part of the fuel is delivered by direct injection to the cylinder whereas the remainder of the fuel is delivered to the air charge from the blower. The directly injected fuel is delivered by a pump, 2 and the fuel delivered to the blower outlet enters by a nozzle 4 in which is a regulating valve 14 under the control of a barometric device 11, 13. The setting of the pump and a throttle valve 6 are controlled by a hand lever 5
