[Class 135] [Also in Group XXXVIII] In an altitude control for regulating the richness of the supply of combustible mixture to an internal-combustion engine through a servomotor, a follow-up connection is provided between the servomotor piston 6 and the loading-spring 15 of the barometric capsule 1, comprising a lever 18 acting at 22 on a lever 20 bearing at 24 on the spring. The piston 6 is connected by a rod 34 to a needle valve controlling the fuel supply to the carburetter nozzle, or to a valve controlling the action of the engine suction on the front chamber. A hand-operated connection to these valves is also provided. In a modification, an electric servomotor may be used wherein an electric motor operates the control through an endless screw, and is itself controlled by a switch or commutator actuated by the barometric capsule.
