Abstract

519,597. Alloys. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Sept. 27, 1938, No. 28150. Convention date, Sept. 27, 1937. Addition to 486,922. [Classes 72 and 82 (i)] The permanent magnet alloys described in the parent Specification are modified by the addition of a total of 1-10 per cent. of one or more of the following: 2-10 per cent. of manganese, 5-10 per cent. of chromium, and 1-10 per cent. of any of the metals aluminium, vanadium, antimony, silver, beryllium, bismuth, cadmium, zinc and tin. After casting and quenching, the alloys may be annealed at 650‹C. for 4-16 hours.
