515,054. Fastenings for doors &c. PERL, A. H. F. May 19, 1938, No. 14988. [Class 44] A fastening for doors, windows &c. comprises a catch 7 pivoted at 8 in a frame 1 fixed to a door jamb &c. and operated by means which automatically lock it in the fastening position against movement other than that effected by the operating means. The operating means may be a toggle lever 9 pivoted at 11 in the frame 1 and engaging the catch by pin and slot 12, 13. A spring 14 effects a snap action of the lever 9. The catch moves in a plane at right angles to the base 2 of the frame 1
