Abstract
514,286. Valve generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd. May 2, 1938, No. 13063. Convention date, April 30, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] A generator having a concentric line section in the output, as the frequency determining circuit, is coupled to an amplifier or other load so that the generator is substantially independent of variations in the amplifier operating conditions. Fig. 4 shows an amplifier 20 coupled to a line 11, 12 by a coil 37 and a single valve generator with the valve anode coupled to a coil 40 and the grid connected to the inner conductor of the concentric line. A push-pull cross-neutralized triode generator may be used with a coil arranged between the concentric line conductors connected to the grids, Fig. 3 (not shown). Fig. 2 shows a negative-transconductance oscillator with the grid 27 at a higher positive potential than the anode and coupled to the low potential grid 28 by condenser 35 associated with a concentric line 11, 12.
