512,107. Oil engines. DAIMLER-BENZ AKT.-GES. Dec. 3, 1938, No. 35303. Convention date, Dec. 27, 1937. [Class 7 (iii)] A fuel-injection pump for multi-cylinder engines comprises groups of pump pistons arranged in planes one behind the other, each group having three or more pistons, 2, 3, 4, 5, two 3, 4 of which are arranged in V-form, at least one piston being provided for each working cylinder. The pumps 3, 4 are operated from a common shaft 6 and the pumps 2, 5 from separate shafts 7, 8. The pumps 2, 3 and 4, 5 at each side of a group have common suction spaces 9.
