Abstract
506,982. Powdered - fuel engines. HANNOVERSCHE MASCHINENBAUAKT.-GES. Sept. 2, 1938, No. 25708. Convention date, Nov. 11, 1937. [Class 7 (ii)] Powdered fuel is admitted to a tube b having perforations c and mixes in the tube with air drawn through a passage a, and the mixture is deflected outwardly by a cone f and again by a passage d before assuming the original direction of flow from the tube and passing to the engine inlet valve. The casing l in which the passage d is formed may be adjustable to vary the cross section of the passage.
