Abstract
504,995. Powdered-fuel engines. HANNOVERSCHE MASCHINENBAU-AKT.-GES. VORM. G. EGESTORFF (HANOMAG). Sept. 2, 1938, No. 25709. Convention date, Nov. 29, 1937. [Class 7 (ii)] An ante-chamber q separated from the combustion space by a valve r is supplied with powdered fuel from a mixing chamber m by air from the combustion space which passes through a passage t, injector o and valve p to the antechamber. A push rod f actuated from a cam shaft acts through a lever g first to open the valve p, then to open a valve c controlling the air passage t, and finally through an abutment k on the tappet v of the valye p to open a valve n in the mixing chamber in order to connect this chamber with the injector.
