504,358. Window regulators. MULLINER, Ltd., A., and BATTEN, C. W. Oct. 22, 1937, No. 28938. [Class 20 (iii)] A pivoted or hinged vehicle window or the like is opened &c. by a band lever 9 projecting through a slot in the inner lining or garnish rail of the door and connected to the lower pivot 3 of the window by means of a blade spring or other resilient coupling 12. A recessed plate 61 engages the lever and retains it in selected positions. The spring 12 is secured in the members 3 and 9 by rivets and the opening for the lever may be formed in a metal escutcheon 15 secured by a strip of wood 14. The pivot 3 may be fastened to a block secured inside the panel frame of the window. The lever 9 may be adapted for movement past that corresponding to the shut position to close the window tightly.
