494,476. Surface carburetters; vaporizers. BURRELL, E. Jan. 29, 1938, No. 2868. Convention date, Jan. 29, 1937. [Class 7 (iii)] Fuel, drawn from a tank 10 through a pipe 31 and heated in a chamber 27 around the exhaust pipe 11, is delivered through a pipe 26 into a pipe 15 through which air, heated in a chamber 16 around the exhaust pipe 11, is drawn into the vapour space in the tank 10. The heated fuel and air pass through wire screens 13 dipping into the fuel and are drawn into the induction pipe through a pipe 33.
