477,949. Sifting- apparatus. REXMAN MILL CO., Ltd., and ROBERTS, E. G. L. June 29,1936, No. 17988. [Class 117] [Also in Group XXIV] A sieve, concentrator, or like body is oscillated by a vertical shaft carrying two balance weights and having an eccentric member at its upper end from which a pin or stub shaft extends and engages the table to be vibrated. In the form shown, the shaft is supported by bearings 7, 8 in a fixed casing 1, 2 and carries a pulley 14 and balance weights 28, 29. Its upper end terminates in an eccentric cup 18 from which a pin 21 extends into a socket 24 carried by the frame 25 of the sieve or table. Lubricating passages are provided.
