[Class 75 (i)] The wick-sheath 4 of the burner of a hurricane lantern is prevented from becoming overheated by the provision on the flame plate 5 of wires 6 of copper or other good heat-conducting material leading into the fuel holder 1. The flame plate 5 may be attached to the wicksheath either directly or by means of an asbestos or similar heat-insulating ring.
