[Class 126] A radiant heat element for use with a liquid fuel burner of the annular wick type comprises an assembly, frustro-conical in shape, of thin metal strips a, Fig. 3, or filaments k of abestos covered wire, Fig. 4, extending between upper and lower rings b, c, or f, g, of metal, a further ring e supporting the assembly above the wick. The filaments are passed round projections i so as to lie on the inside of the frame work.
