[Class 126] A cooking-stove hot-plate g is provided around the burners b or heating points with metal rings i or shapes or frames such as parallelograms or squares corresponding to the shapes of hot-points, each ring, shape or frame having projections n on its undersurface to collect any heat spreading outwards from the burner or heating point, and being so mounted that comparatively little of this heat is transferred to the hot-plate. The ring is supported at its outer edge by the hot-plate, and has openings in its outer edge to reduce the area of contact and loss of heat. A spider p is supported in the centre of the ring.
