[Class 66] The bottoms of enamelled sheet-metal heating or cooking vessels are formed wholly or mainly of concave-convex section, the concave surface being the inner one. For supporting purposes the bottom a may be surrounded by a peripheral channel c which may have wear-resisting stripsf f attached thereto. In other constructions in which the channel is omitted, the pan may be supported by an externally applied depending hoop or flange or by a number of studs or bosses formed on or attached to the bottom. Specification 287,265, [Class 66], is referred to.
