Abstract
410,237. Kettles &c. HALBEARD, R. H., 4, Parkdale, Wolverhampton. Dec. 12, 1932, No. 35179. [Class 66.] To prevent buckling during use, the central portion of the bottom of a kettle, frying pan, or other heating or cooking vessel for use with hot-plate heating is recessed at 3 by reducing the thickness of the metal from the underside, the outer portion 2 remaining either wholly flat or being formed with one or more annular grooves. The recess 3 may be produced by machining or the body may be cast with the recess therein.
