Abstract
394,368. Cooking-vessels. BEL L ' S HEAT APPLIANCES, Ltd. and SCOTT, C. L., 157, Queen Victoria Street, London. Nov. 24, 1931, No. 32547. [Class 66.] A fish kettle, ham cooker, or other vessel for cooking by steaming, which may be generally of oval shape, comprises a lower part 3, preferably of cast iron, having the undersurface of the circular base portion 2 machined flat for hot plate cooking, and a body part 5 of thinner metal, formed with a flange 11 to support a perforated grid or wire tray 9, and with a shoulder 7 to receive the edge of the lid 8. The body part may be attached to the lower portion by welding, riveting &c. The grid may also be permanently secured to the body part. The parts are all provided with pairs of handles 12, 13, 14.
