Abstract
712,011. Pressure cookers. METALLWERK MESCHEDE GES. July 18, 1952 [Dec. 31, 1951], No. 18167/52. Class 66 [Also in Group VII A pressure cooker comprising a vessel 1 and a lid 3 has at least one interchangeable section 2 adapted to be inserted between the vessel 1 and lid 3. Each section 2 has a handle 6 having an attachment 4 which engages the handle of the vessel 1 or of the next lower section, to prevent relative movement therebetween. Each section 2 has an internal peripheral rim or plurality of projections 5 to support a food container, and the sections may have a perforated base. The vessel 1, sections 2, and lid 3 have conventional bayonet catches round their peripheries.
