Abstract

824,727. Steam cookers. BAUMANN, L. June 5, 1957 [June 11, 1956], No. 17871/57. Class 66. A steam cooker comprises superposed cooking units each having an outer vessel and an inner food receptacle and each, except the lowest of the units being supported in the outer marginal bead of the unit below, the lowest of said vessels acting as an evaporator, and the inner marginal bead of each unit acting as support for its food receptacle respectively. The evaporator 10 has food receptacle 14 with holes 26, inner bead 12 and outer bead 13. The vessel 20 has food receptacle 24, inner and outer beads 22, 23 respectively, a lid 30, and a perforated floor. Components will stack within one another, Fig. 2 (not shown). In a modification, Fig. 3 (not shown) the vessel 20 and evaporator 10 are so constructed that the lid 30 will fit either vessel.
