531,826. Wash-tubs, bowls &c. THORNTON, W. H., and THORNTON, J. L. July 8, 1939, No. 19925. [Class 66] A wash-tub, bowl, or other domestic utensil comprises a plain or corrugated body 2 which is seamed to a hollow base 12, the joint 5 being pressed so as to leave no space at the inner surface 13 of the utensil for foreign matter, and a plain annular member 9 which grips the base 12 and abuts against the joint 5. The utensil is finally immersed in a bath of molten spelter. U.S.A. Specification 1,923,742 is referred to.
