Lids and covers.-In a saucepan having a lid 4 with an aperture 5 in the flange for engaging with corresponding holes 2 in the wall of the saucepan for draining purposes, the lid is attached to the saucepan by a bayonet joint and stud 6<x> so arranged that the aperture in the lid cannot be brought into register with the aperture in the pan until the interlock is effective, and that the lid can only be removed from the pan when it occupies one defined position relative thereto. Specification 236,791 is referred to.
