Abstract
586,094. Double cookers. WILKINSON, G. Nov. 23, 1944, No. 23288. [Class 66] A double cooker has an inner vessel or vessels d, f, Fig. 1, spaced from the water-container a, and with the rim or rims above the rim a' of the vessel a ; a deep lid b being arranged so that condensate from it is returned directly to the water-space x. Fixed handles h, h' may project through an opening in the lid, or the handles may be detachable, an extension n, Fig. 2, passing through a slot in the wall of a vessel d and held in place by a bifurcated wedge entering holes r, r'. The outer vessel a may be of earthenware and electrically heated ; it may have a pouring lip i held by a rustless metal spring.
