Abstract

Ovens. - An apertured base-plate c supports a dish a adapted to receive an open-ended casing h enclosing a series of cooking vessels g which are mounted in a skeleton frame k, the whole being enclosed by a removable outer cover i. The frame k consists, as shown, of three vertical rods fitted with lifting- handles k<2> and connected by utensil-supporting rings k<1>, the rods being spaced so as to allow lateral withdrawal of the cooking-vessels. The dish a may be formed integral with the casing h and with the base-plate c. When the vessels g only are used the dish a is partly filled with water, but if the latter is required for roasting, a protecting baffle-plate is applied over the aperture c<1> in the base-plate.
