[Class 123 (ii)] A casing placed around a domestic water heater and its heating means consists of a body portion 1 made of sheet metal which is bent in the form of a trough, and a crown portion 2 and a bottom tray 5 which are welded or soldered to the body portion. A vent passage 4 welded at its upper edges in an opening 3 in the crown portion supports the casing upon the top of the boiler.
