Abstract
447,491. Radiator stoves. ECK, C. A., 35, Stigbergsgatan, Stockholm. Nov. 19, 1934, No. 33275. Convention date, Oct. 19. [Class 126] A radiator, Figs. 1 and 2, comprises liquid - containing vertical sections connected at top and bottom, the central section 5 being similar to the others and of the same external dimensions at the connecting parts, but provided with a recess for the flue 4 of the heating burner, the recess passing up through the section to a point below the upper connecting parts, where lateral openings 6 are provided for the escape of the gases. The flue 4 is welded to the walls of the section. Figs. 6 and 7 show a modification in which the fluid-space of the section extends in the form of a jacket 8 round the flue. In either form the space between the central and two adjacent sections may be closed by a casing 9, the gases after escaping through the lateral openings 6 passing through the space and leaving by openings 11, Fig. 1. A vessel 14 at the top of the radiator receives water rising from it owing to expansion and serves also to moisten the air by evaporation of the water in it.
