401,248. Gas radiator stoves. HAYWARD, F. H., Mortimer Works, Kimberley Road, Willesden Lane, London. Aug. 3, 1933, No. 21877. Convention date, Aug. 24, 1932. [Class 126.] In a gas radiator stove comprising a radiator 10 with an adjacent heating apparatus, the latter consists of a helical coil 13 heated by a burner 27 and connected to the radiator by unions 11 and 12. The upper convolutions 23 of the coil are spaced apart to allow the flue gases to escape into the enclosing chamber 18, the insulated lower part of the coil being carried by a chimney 20, formed as an extension of a lower bracket 17. Baffle plates 24 may extend across the interior of the coil. In a modification the heating coil is disposed between a pair of radiator sections.
