Abstract

Heat radiators; closed solid-fuel stoves; cooking-stoves.-A heating- stove adapted also to afford a cooking hotplate is provided with a radiator and air-heating element comprising a column of hollow blocks built up from the ground level beside the stove and each formed with a partition 2 so that the complete column has an up flue 3 and a down flue 4 connected therewith and leading to the chimney. As shown in Fig. 6, an air-heating flue 9 open at top and bottom may be arranged between the flues 3, 4, and may, if desired, be filled with loose stone material. In the preferred form, there is a column at each side of the stove which mter alia has the advantage of partially enclosing the hot plate.
