177,032. Wright, C. A. March 1, 1921. Gas cooking-stoves; heat-retainers.-A cooking- stove comprises a hollow hot-plate containing a gas burner and heat-absorbing material arranged beyond the burner. In the stove shown, the hollow hot-plate 1 contains a gas-ring or other burners 2, on each side of which are grids 3 of iron bars forming the heat-absorbing material. A perforated baffle-plate 4 is arranged as shown. Ovens 5, 6, 7 are arranged above the hot-plate, the flue 8 passing up one side and over the topof the oven 7. A flue 9 with damper 10 allows. the flue 8 to be by-passed. Specifications 18457/90 and 1704/07 are referred to.
