Abstract

296,111. Carpineti, A. April 20, 1927. Oil cooking-stoves. - A cooking-stove or range heated by petroleum or like oil fuel comprises one or more heating chambers 1 containing cooking- vessels located above the normal floor level and heated by a burner or burners 12 associated with a combustion chamber 8 below the floor level. The stove shown comprises at each end three such heating-chambers with a common combustion chamber, the gases being caused to pass in a helical path around the cooking-vessels. At the centre of the stove is an oven 28 and hotplate 26, both of which are heated by a burner 25. The oil-supply tank 35 for all the burners is housed beneath the combustion chamber 34 of the burner 25 and is heated by a part of the waste gases from the oven flues, which passes round it on its way to the flue 30.
