Abstract

Gas cooking-stoves; heat-radiators; stoves in series. - A heating and cooking stove is provided with one or more ovens adapted to be heated either by the combustion products from an openfronted heating stove which may be applied to it, or by one or more gas burners forming an integral part of it. The stove shown comprises ovens B, C, heated by burners D, D<1>, and a hot-plate with burners E. An aperture a is provided in the outer casing for the admission of the gases from the open-fronted heating-stove, and an aperture c<1> for the supply of air to the burner D'. The gases pass around or through the ovens, as indicated by the arrows according to the position of slides b, b<1>, c<2>, c<3> in the oven walls and a damper b<2>. The ovens may be provided with doors at each side, which are opened when the device is to be used as a radiator.
