Gas cooking-stoves; air - supply for combustion; oven shelves.-A gas cooking-stove comprises, in combination, a combustion chamber 6 closed at the bottom and having air jackets 10 on three sides which communicate at the top, as by the openings 9, with the outer air and at the bottom with the combustion chamber, together with an oven 5 provided with shelves 11 having staggered openings 12 for giving the gases a zig-zag path.
