Abstract

234,312. Helps, G. July 9, 1924. Gas cooking-stoves; air supply for combustion.- A gas oven, open only at the bottom, is provided with burners a arranged sufficiently far beneath the back, front or sides, for the combustion product to pass out between them and the lower edge of the oven without interfering with the flames. In the case where the bottom is also closed, the burners project into the oven through openings sufficiently large to allow the combustion products to pass out of them around the burners. Specifications 1903/79 and 20833/96 are referred to. According to the Provisional Specification, air supply orifices may be formed in the flange of a burner of the type described in Specification 208,191.
