To all 'whom/t may cmweanr Be it known that VVILLIAM A. BUsInK, va citizen of the United States of, America, residing at 625 East C Street, Belleville. in the county of St. Clair and State f Illinois, has invented certain new and useful `lmproven'ients in Ranges, of which the following is a specification.
The object of myinvention is to make a gas range' which will when inoperation produce an equality in temperature in all portions of the oven. A further object is to provide a range with adequate circulation and one that utilizes a double burner. A further object is to make a range that is composed. of standard parts, can easily be assembled and lends itselll readily in multiple production. A still further object is to produce a range in which the burners are easily lighted and in which a positive circulation of heated air results.
With these and other objects in view my invention has relation to certain novel features ot construction and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described. pointed out in the claims and illusirated in the drawings, in which Fig. l is a transverse sectional elevation.

to the it'ront wall 9 and the rear oven wall ll. Numeral 20 designates'the range floor on which are secured the stands 21 beneath theroven base 19. In eyes formed in the stands 21 are secured the gas burners 22 and 23. The burners 22 and 23 are positioned 'as best shown in Figs. 1 and 2 and held in that position by the stands 21. The ends of vthe burners 22 and 23 extend through the -front wall 9 of the range by means of the A source ot fuel is connected to the projections 24: and 25.
Supported on the stands 21 is positioned the baille plate v26 which extends from the t'ront of the oven rearwardly on an inclined plane upwardly, but not to the rear oven wall ll. Formed integrally laterally with the baille plate 26 are r,the baille extensions 27 which protrude over the stands 21, the lateral edges ol which are above the plane ot' the burners 22 and 23 and substantially parallel therewith. In the range floor are positioned the combustion openings 28. The conventional flue 29 is provided to establish communication between the rear wall and the rear oven wall 111. It will be seen that b v reason of the rear wall 7 and the rear oven wall let that a ilue is established behind the oven and that by reason ot the side walls 11 and the oven wall 13 a flue is established and byreason of the side Wall 12 and the oven wall 16 a flue is established.
T he circulation of heat from the burners 22 and 23 is shown by the arrows in Figs. 1 and 2. The heat emanating trom the burners and bailled underneath the baille plate 26 passes beneath the baille plate 26 rearwardly through holes in the rear oven wall 1+i into the flue formed between the rear wall 7 and the rear oven wall 11 and out the flue 29. The heated air from the burners 22 which is deflected by the baille extensions 27 laterally passes up the lues formed between the oven walls 13. the side walls 11 on one side and the oven wall 16 and the side Wall 12 on to the other side over the oven walls 13 and 16 at their top int-o the oven and to the flue opening- 17 into the ilue formed between the rear wall 7 and the rear oven wall 1l. The baille extensions 27 perform the dual 'function ot' detlecting a portion of the heat from the burners 22 under the battle plate 26 and the remainder of the heated air into the ilues previously described. It is desirous in lighting the burners that a portion of the Hue be deflected as indicated.
