Abstract

481,472. Radiators for heating buildings. FLINT, C. F. V., and BOGEBJERG, E. R., (trading as FLINT & BOGEBJERG). May 18, 1937, No. 13786. Convention date, May 19, 1936. [Class 64 (ii)] Two radiator elements 1 of the wainscot panel type are placed one on either side of, and connected at top and bottom to, a vertical tube 3 which is provided with an electric heating element 10 enclosed in a tube 9. The top of the tube 3 comprises an expansion space 6 which remains filled with air when water is added through the downwardly-projecting filling tube 8. The upper part of the tube 3 may be formed of copper to resist corrosion, or may be replaceable. The total thickness of the radiator is small and it is adapted to be placed along a wall.
