Abstract

477,106. Making radiators. SANKEY & SONS, Ltd., J., and POYNOR, F. W. Sept. 24,1936, No. 25927. [Class 83 (ii)] [Also in Group XIII] In a radiator for heating and cooling buildings, of the kind described in Specifications 290,868, [Class 64 (ii)], and 373,454, [Group XIII], in which two plates A, B, each with parallel vertical corrugations, are secured together in parallel relationship by indented portions a, a plate C which may be flat or otherwise, is secured to the outside of one or both of the corrugated plates, by spot-welding. The welding is effected before the plates A, B are locked together by sliding one relatively to the other in the direction of the length of the corrugations.
