Abstract

450,539. Radiators for heating buildings. RENARD, J. F. H., 17, Westbourne Park Road, London. Dec. 20, 1934, No. 36526. [Class 64 (ii)] The top 1, and side walls 2, 3 of an airheating radiator are formed of a metal sheet bent upon itself and supported between end plates 4, 5. These plates are formed with tapered grooves 6, and are held together by a tie bolt 8 and by the heating element 11. Air enters at 9 and is discharged at 10. The element 11 may be a finned tube through which a heating medium circulates, or an electric heater may be used.
