Abstract
341,198. Surface apparatus for interchanging heat. RANDLE, F., The Meads, Hampton-in-Arden, and SYMCOX, E. J., Newlyn, Sowe Common, near Coventry, both in Warwickshire. Nov. 21, 1929, No. 35622. [Class 64 (iii).] A sheet of perforated or reticulated metal is corrugated and applied to a radiator or condenser tube so as to form longitudinal fins 4 which project radially and are straight sided and tapered in section. The corrugated sheet may be bent to shape, sprung on to the tube, and then secured to it. The fins may be arranged unsymmetrically.
