[Class 39 (iii)] In an electric liquid-heater of the type in which a heating-unit is inserted into the tank through a lateral aperture near its lower end, the heating unit 9 and a circulating casing 5 are mounted on a flange 2 which holds them substantially vertically in the tank when it is secured over the lateral aperture. A thermostat 14 is also secured to the flange and passes through apertures in the circulating casing.
