[Class 28 (i)] A cooking apparatus comprises a water heater 1 containing a boiling pan 4, and a separately supported steam over 8 heated by steam from the water heater led thereto by a pipe 9 from the water heater 1. 2 shows a gas or electric heater for the water. The boiling pan 4, e.g., for sauces is provided with a draw off cock 5 and a lid 7. The steam oven is provided with reticulated trays, door 10, steam outlet 11 and drain 12 back to the water heater 1. A drain tap is provided for the water heater. The oven and/or the boiling pan may be detachable from the water heater so that any combination of elements may be used on the water heater.
