A burner tip for an incandescent vapour lamp burning " leaded " petrol comprises a tubular member 7 of heat resistant material having an inlet end securable to the vapour supply tube 6 and an outlet end to which can be secured a mantle 11, the outlet end having secured thereto a heat resistant plate 14 outwardly convex and having a plurality of large apertures 17 equi-distantly spaced about an imperforate centre portion, the apertures extending through the plate radially of its surfaces, so that the vaporized fuel flows along the inner surface of the mantle.
