Abstract
838,305. Vapour burners. MATTHES, H., and MATTHES. H. J. R. March 26, 1957 [March 29, 1956], No. 9857/57. Class 75(1) A vapour burner comprises an outer tube surrounding and spaced from a perforated air supply tube 2 to form an annular combustion space connected through an outlet 11 with a chimney and supplied at its lower end with fuel through a pipe 10. The air tube 2 has perforations 5 in its bottom wall and perforations 6 in its circumferential wall over the entire length thereof. Radial flames are formed at the perforations 6 in the air tube and these flames impinge on the outer tube 1 forming red luminous spots.
