Abstract

123,561. Anderson, W. J. Feb. 21, 1918. Incandescent gas burners; mantle supports.-A mantleholder for an inverted incandescent gas burner is formed without the usual openings ings above the mantle groove 1, and with a downward tubular part 3, which extends into the mantle for the greater part of its depth, so that the burning gas is caused to pass entirely through the mantle. The holder has also an upwardly-extending tubular part 2 adapted to be secured to the'burner mouth. 6 by spring clips 5, and is provided with lugs 4 to facilitate handling.
